STEM Challenge Summit
The STEM Challenge Summits serve as a vehicle for developing innovative, real-world, project-based challenge lessons around a central challenge theme. The Summits bring together K-12, higher education, and industry experts to develop standards-based STEM challenge lessons that can be used as stand-alone modules in K-12 classrooms or STEM student clubs, or as a whole for student teams to compete in a year-long competition.
The initial Summit in 2013 involved a single theme (based around the Memphis Zoo Grand Challenge for a renovation of the herpetarium). 2014-15 involved a STEM Challenge with the Discovery Park of America. Each Summit partnership will result in a set of engaging STEM lesson plans tied to TN state standards. To access currently available lessons, please click here! (new users must register)
